PRO ("we", "us", "our") operates the field operations management platform at www.proapphub.com (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.
By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.
1. Information We Collect
Account information. When you register, we collect your name, email address, and company name. This information is required to create and manage your account.
Location data. When you take site photos through the app, we capture GPS coordinates associated with the photo. This location data is tied to the project and used to document where field work was performed.
Camera and photos. The app allows you to take photos in the field to document site conditions, progress, and completed work. Photos are stored securely and associated with your projects.
Usage data. We collect information about how you interact with the Service, including pages visited, features used, and actions taken. This helps us improve the product and troubleshoot issues.
2. How We Use Your Data
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
- Authenticate your identity and manage your account
- Associate field photos with the correct project locations
- Analyze usage patterns to improve the product experience
- Communicate with you about your account or service updates
- Ensure the security and integrity of the platform
3. What We Do Not Do
- We do not sell your personal data to third parties
- We do not use third-party advertising trackers
- We do not share your data with advertisers
- We do not use your field photos or project data for any purpose other than providing the Service to you
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a US-based cloud infrastructure provider. Data is encrypted in transit using TLS and encrypted at rest where supported by the hosting provider.
We implement role-based access controls, audit logging, and routine backups to protect your information. While no method of electronic storage is 100% secure, we take reasonable measures to safeguard your data.
5. Data Sharing
We only share your data in the following circumstances:
- Service providers. We use third-party services (hosting, storage, email delivery) that process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations.
- Legal requirements. We may disclose data if required by law or valid legal process.
- With your consent. We may share data when you explicitly authorize us to do so.
6. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. After account cancellation, we make your data available for export for 30 days, after which it may be deleted from active systems. Backup copies may be retained for up to an additional 30 days.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Export your data while your account is active

8. Children's Privacy
The Service is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
9. PROApp Chrome Extension
The PROApp Chrome Extension is an optional browser extension that lets PRO work with your browser, so records you would otherwise copy by hand are brought into your account with one click. It is covered by this policy, and this section describes what it does specifically.
What it accesses. When you click Sync in PRO, the extension opens a supported work portal in a visible browser window on your computer and looks up only the records you asked for — for example, the 811 locate tickets you selected. It reads the ticket information the portal displays: status, utility responses, dates, work location, the contact details printed on the ticket, and links to any attachments. It does not read pages, tabs, sites, or browsing activity outside the portals it supports, and it never reads your browsing history.
What it never accesses. The extension does not read, store, or transmit your portal password, your portal login session, or any credential. Those stay in your browser. It never runs on its own — every sync begins with your click, and the portal window stays visible the entire time it works.
Where the data goes. Record data collected by the extension is sent only to your own PRO account, over an encrypted connection, and stored under your company exactly as if you had entered it yourself. It is never sent anywhere else and never sold or shared with third parties.
How it authenticates. The extension authenticates with a short-lived access token issued to you when you start a sync. The token is limited to the sync operation, expires automatically, and is held only in your browser's session memory — it is never written to disk and is gone when you close Chrome. Signing out of PRO revokes it. The extension never holds a shared or administrative key, and the company your data is written to is determined by our servers from your own account — never by the extension.
Your choice. The extension is optional. It asks for your explicit agreement before it collects anything, and uninstalling it from Chrome stops all of the above immediately. Data already synced to your PRO account remains there and is governed by the rest of this policy.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
